近几年,研究生的恋爱问题越来越突出,日益受到重视。本文通过分析研究生恋爱的主要特征和存在的主要问题,提出了解决研究生恋爱问题的相应对策。     

我国印刷工程方向研究生培养现状与思考

本文以印刷工程方向研究生培养为讨论对象,首先分析了我国印刷工程方向高等教育发展与研究生培养现状,然后就当前研究生培养中的瓶颈问题展开讨论,最后结合西安理工大学印刷包装工程学院在提高研究生培养质量方面做出的积极探索,提出了研究生培养应在搭建高水平研究平台、改善培养条件及培养方式国际化等方面做出积极努力。

“印刷新技术导论”课程的改革与创新

“印刷新技术导论”是一门介绍国内外印刷前沿技术的研究生学位课程,对指导印刷及相关专业方向研究生的学习和科研有着重要意义。本文分析了该课程在教学中存在的主要问题,并从规范课程设置、更新课程内容、改善教育教学方法、提高师资团队综合实力、加强学术交流与实践等方面对该课程提出改革与创新策略,以达到预期的教学目的。     

Where have all the deep discounts gone?

The short-lived (1981–1982) popularity of original issue, deep-discount financial instruments is examined retrospectively in this article; at the Treasury's urging, the tax advantage allowed the issuers of such instruments was eliminated as of July 1, 1982. First, an empirical examination is used to show that deep-discount instruments had before-tax yields no different from those of comparable conventional instruments. After-tax yields, however, were significantly lower, which explains why the appeal for such instruments was highest among (seemingly abundant) tax-exempt holders. The conclusion is that the issue-side tax advantage which the Treasury squashed was, in effect, a subsidy which reduced firms' after-tax capital costs. The end result of the old provision must therefore have been to lower the required after-tax-rate-of-return threshold for capital investment; so the Treasury's action must have had a disincentive effect on capital expenditures.     

Who's talking about the future?: An analysis of the U.S. Presidents

What are people actually saying when they are talking and writing about the future? The paper rests on two premises; that the future is essentially a construct of human thought, and that one method of knowing the future is to carefully examine the language used when “the future” is being talked about. The 13 inaugural addresses of the U.S. presidents since 1933 are systematically examined for evidences of their author's future orientation. The paper provides both factual data about the future consciousness of our presidents over the past 50 years, and also demonstrates the use of linguistic analysis for forecasting the future.     

Integrating human resource accounting into the public policy process: An illustration

Traditionally, public policy formulation has been accomplished through political compromise. In recent years, growing public pressure for austerity and accountability in the use of public resources has made the analytical approach to policy formulation and evaluation increasingly important. This exploratory study illustrates how the human resource accounting model can contribute to an objective and systematic evaluation of a complex public policy issue. The study considers the attrition of commissioned officers from the U.S. Army as a loss of human resources and examines the relative investment in human resources from two primary sources of commissioning. This type of systematic analysis provides valuable information for the policy maker in making logical decisions on human resource development.     

新疆学位与研究生教育问题研究

经过近三十年的发展,新疆基本形成了一个与其经济社会发展大致相适应的、结构逐渐优化、门类比较齐全、培养类型多样的研究生培养体制,为新疆培养了人才,留住了人才,并带动了学科建设,增强了科学技术创新能力。目前,新疆研究生教育面临着如何更好更快发展的问题,解决的办法是进行研究生教育的创新。因此,我们应认真研究,扎实推进研究生培养机制改革。
