RESEARCH NOTE: ERRORS IN THE OCTOBER HOUSEHOLD SURVEY 1994 AVAILABLE FROM THE SOUTH AFRICAN DATA ARCHIVE1

The on‐line electronic documentation supplied with the 1994 October Household Survey by the South African Data Archive (SADA) appears to be incorrect. In particular, the electronic version of the questionnaire does not correspond to the hard copy in the possession of the author. The most serious error is that the race classification in the electronic copy is different from the classification on the hard copy. Researchers relying on the electronic copy will erroneously interchange the categories “Coloured”, “White” and “Black”. This could lead to seriously misleading analyses. The reason for this mistake can probably be attributed to a retyping of the questionnaire using the 1993 OHS as a template.     

WCDMA接收系统中邻通道干扰研究

本文对3G的WCDMA中的ACS参数进行分析,解释33 dB的理由。并对实际电路的RF接收的ACS指标进行测试,设置测试的中心频率是2 110 MHz、2 140 MHz和2 170 MHz 3个高中低频率点,测得在偏离中心频率点 /-5 MHz的调制干扰信号值为-48 dBm到-42 dBm之间(BER=0.001时),可得幅度裕量在3.9 dB到9.2 dB之间,满足3GPP中的干扰信号-52 dBm电平要求。     

Marketing perspectives on digital business models: A framework and overview of the special issue

Strong digital developments are changing markets, and firms may adopt a digital business model to deal with these developments. This special issue focuses on such digital business models. In this editorial, we discuss the relevance of digital business models, propose a conceptual framework, and discuss how digital business models affect firms, firm performance, and markets. We introduce the papers in this issue and show how they each fit within the conceptual framework. We discuss four important areas for future research.

Recursive smooth ambiguity preferences

This paper axiomatizes an intertemporal version of the Smooth Ambiguity decision model developed in [P. Klibanoff, M. Marinacci, S. Mukerji, A smooth model of decision making under ambiguity, Econometrica 73 (6) (2005) 1849-1892]. A key feature of the model is that it achieves a separation between ambiguity, identified as a characteristic of the decision maker's subjective beliefs, and ambiguity attitude, a characteristic of the decision maker's tastes. In applications one may thus specify/vary these two characteristics independent of each other, thereby facilitating richer comparative statics and modeling flexibility than possible under other models which accommodate ambiguity sensitive preferences. Another key feature is that the preferences are dynamically consistent and have a recursive representation. Therefore techniques of dynamic programming can be applied when using this model.

DQL800/1250.30型堆取料机的使用与改进

DQL800/1250.30型堆取料机是一种自动化水平较高的大型装卸设备,因存在许多问题而不能正常工作。通过对其供电方式改进、悬臂皮带跑偏治理、增加中心溜槽电保温、斗轮收缩盘连接方式改进等技改,使堆取料机较好满足了生产要求,并对相应的改进措施进行了详述。     

基于蚁群系统算法的车辆路径问题研究

通过引入改进的蚂蚁算法--蚁群系统算法来解决基本的车辆路径问题。针对具体实例运用计算机编程得出了基于蚁群系统算法的最优解,并与其它两种启发式算法进行对比,指出了蚁群系统算法的优势与存在的不足,提出了进一步研究的方向。
