Ketchup with your fries? Utilizing complementary product displays to transfer attention to a focal product

Does placing a display of complementary condiments (e.g., ketchup, mustard, buns,etc.) next to a display of hamburgers make shoppers more likely to attend to the hamburgers? Prior work has established that in-store marketing strategies play an important role in drawing attention to products in a retail setting. Building on this research, the present study develops a framework to better understand how shoppers in a natural retail environment attend to displays of complementary products, and how this attention transfers to a focal product. The results suggest that assortment complexity of a display positively affects initial attention capture.. Further, initial attention capture leads shoppers to spend longer evaluating the complementary products in the display, which, in turn, increases evaluation and choice of the focal product. As such, our framework indicates that complementary product displays can be effective at increasing attention to and choice of an associated focal product.     

Systemic financial risk early warning of financial market in China using Attention-LSTM model

We propose an Attention-LSTM neural network model to study the systemic risk early warning of China. Based on text mining, the network public opinion index is constructed and used as a training set to be incorporated into the early warning model to test the early warning effect. The results show that: (i) the network public opinion is the non-linear Granger causality of systemic risk. (ii) The Attention-LSTM neural network has strong generalization ability. Early warning effects have been significantly improved. (iii) Compared with the BP neural network model, the SVR model and the ARIMA model, the LSTM neural network early warning model has a higher accuracy rate, and its average prediction accuracy for systemic risk indicators has been improved over short, medium and long terms. When the attention mechanism is included in the LSTM, the Attention-LSTM neural network model is even more accurate in all the cases.     

为何言路难开?领导拒谏构念维度与形成机理探究

员工谏言不仅具有建设性,而且具有挑战性和结果的不确定性,使得领导者可能纳谏也可能拒谏。然而,现有研究主要关注员工谏言与领导纳谏,却忽略了领导拒谏。本研究在回顾员工谏言及相关研究的基础上发现,领导者会对员工谏言进行建设性评估和威胁性评估,具有建设性和防御性两种行为目的。基于此,首先,从领导者的双元行为目的出发探讨了领导拒谏的概念与维度,依据发展视角、人际视角和防御视角将领导拒谏划分为:指导员工驱动的拒谏、维持关系驱动的拒谏、保证权威驱动的拒谏。其次,分析了领导拒谏的形成机理,从谏言内容、谏言员工和谏言行为三方面考察领导者对员工谏言的认知评估过程,详细讨论了组织距离如何通过领导注意间接影响领导拒谏,并探讨了权力距离在领导注意与领导拒谏之间所具有的调节作用。本研究有助于推动领导拒谏的理论构建,拓展认知评估理论的应用,而且能为组织管理实践给予一定的参考与借鉴。     

网络嵌入、绿色动态能力与企业绿色创新——环境规制和管理者环境注意力的调节作用

基于动态能力理论、社会网络理论和制度理论等,探讨网络嵌入对企业绿色创新的影响,并进一步考察绿色动态能力在其中的中介作用以及环境规制、管理者环境注意力的调节作用。运用多元回归和Bootstrap方法进行实证检验,结果显示：结构嵌入和关系嵌入对企业绿色创新均具有显著影响;绿色动态能力在结构嵌入、关系嵌入与绿色创新之间起中介作用;环境规制、管理者环境注意力均正向调节绿色动态能力与绿色创新间关系。     

投资者关注与IPO异象——来自网络搜索量的经验证据

利用谷歌趋势提供的搜索量数据,本文构建了一个投资者关注的直接衡量指标,在此基础上,运用行为金融学里投资者关注的理论,系统解释了IPO市场存在的三种异象。与文献中常见的其他解释变量相比,本文发现IPO前个股网络搜索量对于市场热销程度、首日超额收益和长期表现有更好的解释力和预测力,它可以解释首日超额收益的23%,长期累积收益率的10%以上,结果均十分显著。研究结果表明,投资者关注对资产价格有直接的影响,2009年的新股发行体制改革对首日超额收益的降低起到了明显作用。     

基于无线生理传感器与虚拟现实技术的复愈性环境注意力恢复作用研究

基于卡普兰复愈性环境理论,运用脑机接口设备、智能腕带传感器等无线生理指标检测技术,测试大学生被试人群在沉浸式虚拟现实(VR)情境下,对4种复愈性环境及城市环境在注意力恢复和压力减轻方面的反应及其作用强度,获得被试在不同环境中脑电、心率、肌电的客观生理数据。采用非参数统计方法R语言对数据进行分析。结果显示,多数被试在复愈性环境中较城市环境表现出更好的注意力恢复效果。其中具有逃离性和迷人性特征的自然环境,复愈效果最为明显;在虚拟现实环境中,观赏城市环境图片也具有一定的复愈效果。     

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in the Workplace Under the ADA in the Wake of Sutton and Its Companions

The terms Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) refer to a neurological impairment that affects the individual's ability to sustain attention and to behave in a calm, rational manner. ³ Although this disorder has long been considered to be restricted to childhood, recent research has demonstrated that many children carry it over into adult life and take it with them into the workplace. Most U.S. courts have treated AD/HD as a disability covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). ⁴ However, in the summer of 1999, the U.S. Supreme Court made three decisions that will undoubtedly affect the future status of AD/HD and other impairments under the ADA. This article examines those decisions, how they affect the employment rights of AD/HD-afflicted employees, and the changes they will probably bring to litigation in this area. Because we have many reservations about the court's decisions, we not only voice our criticisms of the decisions, but also offer an alternative approach.     

交易者关注行为对股票价格的影响机制

本文研究了交易者的关注行为对股票价格的影响机制。通过控制了公司基本面的因素基础上,分别从最终量（股票价格）和变化量（价格差）两个角度,建立了影响模型,实证发现,无论是最终量还是变化量,当期的关注度产生的正向响应都是强于滞后一期产生的反向影响;进一步用格兰杰因果分析了两者的关系,发现互为双向格兰杰原因;通过脉冲响应了解相互之间作用的模式,发现关注度对价格短期内是反向波动的影响,长期会有正向的响应。
