Transferring and Transforming Technology Education: A Study of Norwegian Teachers’ Perceptions of Ideas from Design & Technology

What happens when educational ideas cross national and cultural borders? How do teachers respond to ideas originating in a different school system and a different national culture? This article reports on an empirical study investigating the transfer of ideas from Design &; Technology as a subject in England and Wales into Norwegian schools. A sample of teachers participating in a specific project on technology teaching inspired by this subject has been studied by means of interviews and classroom observation. Results of the study show that while some elements of Design &; Technology are adopted by the teachers, essential ideas of the subject are significantly transformed. Drawing on Barnes, (1992, Teachers and Teaching: From Classrooms to Reflection (pp. 9–32), The Falmer press, London) concept of teachers' professional frames for teaching, it is shown how specific aspects of the national and educational culture have had a considerable effect on?the teachers' interpretation of the nature of technology as a subject of teaching and its place in the curriculum. The study illustrates the importance of the cultural context in how educational ideas are interpreted, reshaped and realized in schools.

PBL教学结合多媒体技术在物流专业课堂教学改革中的应用

文章分析了传统理论教学所存在的问题，结合《配送中心运营管理》课程的特点，将PBL教学模式与多媒体技术进行结合改革课堂教学模式，从而达到提高学生积极性和创造性的目的，对实施前准备工作、课堂教学中的组织和课堂后质量考核评价进行了设计和应用，从而达到培养学生职业能力的目的。     

Don't ignore the floor: Exploring multisensory atmospheric congruence between music and flooring in a retail environment

In retail environments, consumers commonly evaluate products while standing on some type of flooring and concurrently being exposed to music; however, no study has examined the interaction of these two atmospheric cues. To bridge this gap, this research examines whether retailers can benefit from creating multisensory atmospheric congruent rather than incongruent retail environments of flooring and music. The results of an experiment in a real retail store reveal positive effects of multisensory congruent retail environments (e.g., soft music combined with soft flooring) on product evaluations. This study provides a new process explanation with consumers’ purchase‐related self‐confidence mediating these effects. Specifically, consumers in congruent rather than incongruent retail environments experience more purchase‐related self‐confidence, which in turn leads to more favorable product evaluations. Furthermore, this study shows that consumers with a low rather than a high preference for haptic information are influenced more by multisensory atmospheric congruence when evaluating a product haptically.

高等院校足球文化氛围的研究

我国足球水平总上不去，与足球文化氛围不太好有着紧密关系。足球文化氛围先要搞好了，参加足球活动的人增加，踢足球的人多，人才辈出，成绩提高也就水到渠成。校园足球文化应该像金字塔一样，重点在基层。自下而上，形成各班、年级、系部、学校等层面。可以开展小规模的友谊赛，也可以开展中等规模及体协牵头的各种类型的比赛，最高层则是学校的足球联赛。同时领导重视，各职能部门大力支持，体育教学部全力以赴，学生会积极协助，共同努力，才能使校园足球文化蓬勃发展。高校的学生既是运动员的摇篮又是社会的未来精英，高校足球文化氛围的提高，将会对我国足球水平的提高有很大的推进作用。     

培养学生的逻辑思维能力——西方经济学教学之难点分析

西方科学研究注重逻辑思维能力,而习惯于直觉经验性思维方式的中国学生在学习西方经济学的过程中感到“非常难学”。尤其是地方高校的财经、管理类学生本身的数学基础相对薄弱,班级中存在相当比重的文科学生,这使西方经济学的教学可谓“难上加难”。教师在教学过程中有必要对基本数学概念进行再梳理、做好与数学理论的衔接工作、进行图形板书化解抽象问题以及更多地利用生活案例加强学生的逻辑思维能力,提高西方经济学的教学效果。
