“进步话语”与人性的沉沦——论康拉德的丛林小说

约瑟夫·康拉德的小说创作常常蕴含着深刻的道德主题,他的“丛林小说”更是着力于探讨欧洲文明社会所谓的“进步话语”的实质。文章将以《海隅逐客》、《进步前哨》、《黑暗的心》等三部小说为研究对象,以小说中主人公的形象分析为切入点,揭示出“进步话语”背后殖民掠夺的本质,展现在“物”的诱惑下人性的沉沦。     

顺应理论下的翻译策略与方法——以《红楼梦》杨宪益英译本为例

Verschueren的顺应理论为从语用学的角度研究翻译提供了新的理论框架。翻译策略和方法的选择应该分别实现对宏观交际语境和微观语言语境的动态顺应。归化和异化是实现动态顺应的翻译策略,直译和意译则是翻译方法。《红楼梦》的杨宪益译本为顺应论视角下翻译策略和方法的成功选择提供了例证。

水泥标准稠度用水量的高低对混凝土的性能影响很大。本文分析了影响水泥标准稠度用水量的系列因素,认为熟料中的矿物C3A含量是主要因素,其含量越高,配制成的水泥标准稠度用水量就越高。熟料的烧成质量、水泥比表面积、水泥中混合材的种类及掺量、石膏的品位等因素也对水泥标准稠度用水量有一定影响。水泥标准稠度用水量越低,配制的混凝土性能越好。     

Option pricing in the presence of natural boundaries and a quadratic diffusion term

This paper uses a probabilistic change-of-numeraire technique to compute closed-form prices of European options to exchange one asset against another when the relative price of the underlying assets follows a diffusion process with natural boundaries and a quadratic diffusion coefficient. The paper shows in particular how to interpret the option price formula in terms of exercise probabilities which are calculated under the martingale measures associated with two specific numeraire portfolios. An application to the pricing of bond options and certain interest rate derivatives illustrates the main results.

Research Productivity in Business Economics: The Case of Marketing

Abstract. The German Economic Review ( GER ) recently published a paper by Fabel, Hein and Hofmeister about research productivity in Austrian, German and Swiss universities. The authors derive the rankings of institutions and subject areas by analyzing an impressive and comprehensive dataset, which captures the research output of business administration departments. While these rankings might hold at an aggregate level, they lack face validity at a subject-specific level. This lack of validity is demonstrated in the case of marketing by analyzing the research output of the top-ranked institutions in top-ranked journals. A number of proposals to overcome these kinds of problems are provided.     

从A123破产看美国支持新兴产业政策的失灵

2009年,美国政府宣布在经济复苏法案中拨款24亿美元支持电动汽车电池产业的发展,生产锂电池的A123系统公司获2.49亿美元拨款。A123虽获美国政府新兴产业政策的大力支持,但在美国能源法案关于资金用途的约束下,从辉煌走向崩塌,于2012年申请破产。A123的破产启示我们:政府培育新兴产业的政策要在尊重市场规律的前提下突出产品创新,提高产品的技术含量和成熟度;在新兴产业的发展过程中,最关键的是产品的技术含量,而对资金、人力资源起基础配置作用的是市场,若忽视产品的技术完善,背离市场规律,尽管政府扶持政策力度很大,也会出现政策失灵。
