《洗澡》英译本中归化翻译策略的使用

归化翻译策略在小说《洗澡》英译本中有成功运用,也有不足之处。归化或异化的使用应注意时机问题,当视所译文本实际情况而定。

This thesis examines the translators' roles in traditional translation theory and in Venuti's foreignizing translation strategy.In the background of the traditional translation theory,the translators have been put into a secondary status.In order to challenge the only dominant and effective domesticating translation method in Anglo-American culture and also highlight the translators' status in translating practice,Lawrence Venuti put forward foreignizing translation strategy.

归化与异化是两大翻译策略。翻译的发展趋势由归化逐步走向异化。异化翻译的运用对于本土文化的传播和对外来文化的理解将起到很大的作用。
