Bayesian MCMC Mapping of Quantitative Trait Loci in a Half-sib Design: a Graphical Model Perspective

Graphical models provide a powerful and flexible approach to the analysis of complex problems in genetics. While task-specific software may be extremely efficient for any particular analysis, it is often difficult to adapt to new computational challenges. By viewing these genetic applications in a more general framework, many problems can be handled by essentially the same software. This is advantageous in an area where fast methodological development is essential. Once a method has been fully developed and tested, problem-specific software may then be required. The aim of this paper is to illustrate the potential use of a graphical model approach to genetic analyses by taking a very simple and well-understood problem by way of example.

要解决中国目前存在的“增长悖论”问题，必须解决更深层次的“激励机制”问题、“有效歧视”问题和“产业升级”问题。“激励机制”问题可以看作是对“结构调整论”的回应，不重视激励机制（特别是对官员的激励）的经济增长很有可能总是徘徊在调整阶段，丧失经济结构调整的有利时机。“有效歧视”问题可以看作是对“有效劳动需求论”的回应，不破除“有效歧视”就不可能形成真正有效的劳动供给。“产业升级”问题可以看作是对“技术进步论”的回应，一方面，没有产业结构升级的技术进步不是有效的技术进步，因为不能形成“扩散效应”和“拉动效应”；另一方面，达成共识的产业升级会造成“潮涌现象”，从而形成投资过热和产能过剩。     

考虑零售商销售努力的双渠道供应链定价策略研究

随着电子商务市场的日益成熟,制造商建设线上直销渠道来适应新的商品销售环境成为趋势。制造商线上直销渠道的建立占领了部分原本属于线下零售渠道的市场份额,对线下零售渠道造成冲击。针对双渠道供应链中的竞争,将零售商销售努力行为考虑在内,通过构建博弈模型分别研究了在集中决策模式和分散决策模式下,制造商与零售商的定价策略。研究发现,在集中决策模式下,线下零售渠道与线上直销渠道之间的价格差异随着两个渠道潜在需求量之间差异的增大而增大,并且两个渠道的最优价格分别与其市场潜在需求成正比。在分散决策模式下,两个渠道的最优价格亦与潜在需求成正比,并且线下零售渠道的最优价格随零售商销售努力程度的增加而增加,线上直销渠道的最优价格随着零售商销售努力程度的增加而减少。

Changing Perceptions and Changing Behavior in Customer Relationships

We formulate a theoretical model in which we postulate that if customers' behavior is perceived as not optimal, customers will adjust this behavior based on their current satisfaction and payment equity. Furthermore, customers will also include new experiences. In our empirical study we particularly investigate customer referrals and the amount of services purchased. Our results show positive effects of current satisfaction and payment equity on referrals, while also changes in satisfaction and payment equity affect customer referrals. With respect to the amount of services purchased, our estimation results reveal a positive significant effect of only changes in satisfaction.     

Booking horizon forecasting with dynamic updating: A case study of hotel reservation data

A highly accurate demand forecast is fundamental to the success of every revenue management model. As is often required in both practice and theory, we aim to forecast the accumulated booking curve, as well as the number of reservations expected for each day in the booking horizon. To reduce the dimensionality of this problem, we apply singular value decomposition to the historical booking profiles. The forecast of the remaining part of the booking horizon is dynamically adjusted to the earlier observations using the penalized least squares and historical proportion methods. Our proposed updating procedure considers the correlation and dynamics of bookings both within the booking horizon and between successive product instances. The approach is tested on real hotel reservation data and shows a significant improvement in forecast accuracy.     

一种3.5 GHz频段双通道射频前端设计

随着5G商用网络的快速建设,国内5G网络测试设备存在大量空缺。为此,设计了一种适用于5G终端模拟器的3.5 GHz频段双通道射频前端。该射频前端结合了ADRV9009芯片,可同时支持双通道收发,具有器件数少、设计复杂度低的特点。实测结果表明,该射频前端性能稳定,接收灵敏度为-85 dBm,噪声系数小于2.6 dB,256QAM调制下发射信号的误差矢量幅度为1.43%,达到了5G终端模拟器的设计要求。
