The Measurement of Consumption Efficiency Considering the Discrete Choice of Consumers

In this study we propose a mathematical definition of the consumption efficiency of multi-attribute products in the price–quality space. A new model, the discrete Range Adjusted Measure (RAM) model, is suggested as an empirical tool to measure the level of consumption efficiency. We further discuss the effect of consumption efficiency on the innovation incentive. Empirical work is made for the mobile phone market. We expect that the consumption efficiency concept will contribute to the extension of the traditional framework of production efficiency analysis on the one hand and to the understanding of the nature of innovation in a technology-intensive market on the other hand.JEL Classification: C67, D11, D12, D21     

Taxation of Mobile Factors as Insurance under Uncertainty

This paper considers the effects of the taxation of mobile factors, i.e., capital, under uncertainty. The wages earned by residents of a jurisdiction are uncertain due to random shocks. Since the uncertain wages in a jurisdiction depend on the amount of mobile capital employed in the jurisdiction, and since taxation alters the quantity of capital employed, taxation affects the riskiness of uncertain wages. In particular, the taxation of capital moderates the fluctuation of uncertain wages, thereby providing insurance. For this reason, jurisdictions use distortionary capital taxation even if lump‐sum taxation is available. In addition, this insurance effect counteracts the tendency toward too low tax rates on capital arising from tax competition, and possibly improves the efficiency of tax competition.     

Regulation of Mobile Telephony across the European Union: An Empirical Analysis

In this paper I analyze the impact of regulatory policy on prices and demand for mobile telecommunications services across the European Union. I estimate a reduced form model of the mobile industry using panel data for the EU countries from 1998 to 2002. 区域化党建视域下流动党员政党认同现状及提升途径研究--以宁波北仑为例

流动党员个体在政党认同强度上的差别，一定程度上影响着全党政治行为的整合性和驱动力。根据当前流动党员在政党认知、政党情感、政党评价及政党认同的行为四个层面的两面性分析，应从价值内化、情感维系、社会引导等三方面进行运作，以提高流动党员政党认同度。

移动电子商务带来便利的同时也带来了新的安全问题,设备的多样性和移动网络环境的复杂性使得确保移动电子商务交易安全更加困难,本文通过分析现阶段移动电子商务的交易模式,提出现有移动电子商务交易过程中存在的安全问题与安全隐患,最后提出了较为可行的解决方案。
