中国翻译理论的历史沿革

翻译活动作为一种文化交流手段，在中国有着2000多年的悠久历史，在宏观研究上有取之不尽的资源。本文主要概述了中国译论发展的几个重要时期，认为回顾历史对于21世纪中国译学的发展有着积极的作用。     

Monetary union and the Maastricht inflation criterion: The accession countries*

We model an accession country facing a Maastricht‐type inflation criterion that specifies an inflation ceiling. In addition to deciding whether or not to satisfy this criterion, the country must decide how much costly economic reform to undertake. If the country puts enough weight on the future that it can credibly meet the inflation criterion no matter what the ceiling is, then the inflation criterion benefits the country but lowers reform. If the country puts less weight on the future, then a criterion with a properly chosen inflation ceiling can increase reform. We derive the inflation ceilings that maximize the country's welfare and its reform.     

Social Scientific Explanations?

Generally valid scientific explanations of observable social phenomena are still hardly available. By applying philosophical insights generated by Quine and derived from semiotics to social research methodology three kinds of context dependencies accompanying theory formation within social science are identified. The third context dependency is mostly not attended in theory formation about social phenomena thereby producing a ``connotation fallacy', which leaves almost all social theories undetermined and fallible. These context dependencies should be taken into account in the research design and be tested for using statistical criteria comprising a new methodology presented in this article.

福庆寺剪切带剪切指向标志及剪切方向的确定

福庆寺剪切带中宏观发育S-C面状构造,不对称的透镜状构造(或眼球),由变形变质分异而形成的无根石英脉的不对称状“布丁”等明显可辨的剪切指向标志;显微的糜棱面理(Sm)及剪切条带(Shear bands)、云母的掀斜现象、黄铁矿晶体的压力影、显微破裂等是剪切指向标志在显微域中的表现;糜棱岩中石英光轴组构的不对称性也提供了揭示剪切带运动特点的佐证。刘剪切带线状构造的分类统计,获得该剪切带在韧性变形阶段,a线理(矿物拉伸线理、原生气孔杏仁的拉伸方向)以中—高角度向NE侧状,反映了此阶段剪切带发生了逆冲—左行斜冲剪切运动,在脆性变形阶段,擦痕线理以高角度向SW侧状,则指示了该剪切带在后期活动阶段的高角度右行斜冲剪切运动性质。     

新租赁准则对快递业上市公司财务指标的影响研究

随着全球经济的不断发展和进步,现如今租赁已经成为很多企业和公司进行融资的一种重要方法和手段,在市场经济中发挥着非常重要的作用.与此同时,租赁准则也在不断发生改变,能够更加真实地反映相应的市场经济活动.文章通过探讨和研究新租赁准则对快递业上市公司财务指标的影响,提出了相关的建议和对策,希望能够起到参考和借鉴的作用.     

Valuing ecosystem goods and services: a new approach using a surrogate market and the combination of a multiple criteria analysis and a Delphi panel to assign weights to the attributes

A new approach to valuing ecosystem goods and services (EGS) is described which incorporates components of the economic theory of value, the theory of valuation (USappraisal), a multi-model multiple criteria analysis (MCA) of ecosystem attributes, and a Delphi panel of experts to assign weights to the attributes. The total value of ecosystem goods and services in the various tenure categories in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area (WTWHA) in Australia was found to be in the range AUD$188 to $211 million year⁻¹, or AUD$210 to 236 ha⁻¹ year⁻¹ across tenures, as at 30 June 2002. Application of the weightings assigned by the Delphi panelists and assessment of the ecological integrity of the various tenure categories resulted in values being derived for individual ecosystem services in the World Heritage Area. Biodiversity and refugia were the two attributes ranked most highly at AUD$18.6 to $20.9 million year⁻¹ and AUD$16.6 to $18.2 million year⁻¹, respectively.

Supplier selection and partnerships: Effects upon restaurant operational and strategic benefits and performance

This study focused on identifying strategic criteria involved in selecting suppliers of restaurant products/services specific to casual dining, full service independent restaurants to obtain operational and strategic benefits for those managers operating in this highly competitive marketplace. A total of 765 responses were obtained from managers at independently owned restaurants throughout the U.S. Results revealed that ‘product’ and ‘financial/technical’ criteria had significant and positive effects upon operational benefits, while ‘product’ and ‘service’ had positive effects upon strategic benefits. When the sample was segmented into low and high supplier partnership groups, the positive effects of ‘financial/technical’ and ‘cost/price’ were significantly greater for the ‘high’ partnership group pertaining to operational benefits. ‘Product’ and ‘service’ and their effects upon strategic benefits were greatest for the high partnership group. Based on our findings, implications, limitations, and recommendations for future studies have been provided.     

Examination of Multiple Criteria in Health Technology Assessment for Application to Instrumental Analysis

Abstract:

The instrumental-ceremonial dichotomy is the analytical concern emphasized in instrumental analysis by original institutional economists for making welfare decisions. Paul Dale Bush and Wolfram Elsner explained that warranted criteria are required in order to conduct instrumental analysis. The concern for criteria led to an examination of multiple criteria decision analysis in health technology assessment in order to improve instrumental analysis. Health technology assessment (HTA) is one of the most active and extensive areas of analysis for policy making because medical technology changes very rapidly, expenditures on it are high and growing, it can harm as well as help, and there is intense personal concern by citizens who want wellness. Although HTA, especially with regard to the analysis of multiple criteria, has made considerable progress, its appraisal has been a disappointment. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to critique aspects of multiple criteria HTA in order to further develop instrumental analysis.
