Virtual work is becoming the norm in sales organizations because it is cost effective for the firm and can benefit customers and salespeople. However, along with these benefits, virtual work brings new challenges to organizations. One critical issue is workplace isolation (WI). This study uses responses from a sample of 346 salespeoples in the pharmaceutical field to test a model that investigates the relationships among WI, self-efficacy, leadership style, extra-role performance (ERP), satisfaction with the supervisor, and turnover intentions. Salespersons perception of managers as considerate leaders are associated with lower WI levels. Salespeople with higher levels of self-efficacy are less likely to believe that they are isolated from the company and their colleagues. WI, in turn, is significantly related to satisfaction with the supervision and ERP. Managerial implications and future research directions are presented.  相似文献

This paper investigates adolescent online shopping and self-efficacy development in the virtual setting. The authors present and test a model of antecedents and mediators to two dimensions of online consumer self-efficacy. Additionally, a discriminant analysis finds that more involved adolescent online shoppers can be differentiated from less involved online shoppers on key variables of interest-shopping motivations, self-efficacies, shopping behaviors, and relative influence in household decision-making.  相似文献

基于情绪认知评价理论,从情绪和认知两个视角分析失败恐惧对创业坚持的影响与边界条件。通过对316名创业者的问卷调查发现:创业失败恐惧对创业坚持行为具有负向影响;自我效能感在失败恐惧和创业坚持之间发挥中介作用;成长型思维调节失败恐惧对自我效能感的负向影响,成长型思维通过降低失败恐惧对自我效能感的负向作用来促进创业坚持行为。依据“情感—认知—行为”的逻辑从创业者的情绪和认知视角综合分析失败恐惧对创业坚持的影响,既为创业者中途退出创业活动提供解释思路和理论洞见,也为全面理解创业坚持行为提供理论指导。  相似文献

本文探讨了共享型领导对员工建言行为的影响,以及员工权力感的中介效应和差错风险承担、角色自我效能感的调节作用,丰富了员工建言行为、共享型领导的相关理论并给出了相应的实践建议。以上海多家企业中的员工以及其直属上级领导作为研究对象,通过194对领导-下属有效调查问卷分析得出了以下结论:①共享型领导对员工的促进性建言与抑制性建言都有显著的正向预测作用;②员工权力感在共享型领导与员工建言行为之间存在中介作用;③差错风险承担在员工权力感与促进性建言之间存在调节作用,角色自我效能感在员工权力感与抑制性建言之间存在调节作用。本文在此研究结果的基础上进行讨论并给出相关管理建议。  相似文献

本文以长三角地区多家企业的228名员工作为研究对象,通过问卷调研的形式对工作特征、个体特征与员工数字化创造力之间的关系,在这些关系中创新自我效能感所起到的中介作用以及性别在这一中介机制中起到的调节作用进行了实证检验,结果表明,工作特征中的工作自主性和任务多样性以及个体特征中的个体数字化技术知识分别对员工数字化创造力有显著的正向影响作用,创新自我效能感在其中起重要的中介作用,同时性别在工作特征与创新自我效能感之间起调节作用,男性更容易受到任务多样性的影响,而女性创新自我效能感的产生更易受到工作自主性的影响。  相似文献

基于社会认知理论和价值观理论,考察了真实型领导对员工创新行为的复杂影响机制。以374份企业员工数据为样本,通过层级回归分析和Bootstrap方法进行假设检验,研究结果表明:真实型领导对员工创新行为具有显著正向影响;不确定性规避和创新自我效能感在真实型领导与员工创新行为之间分别发挥部分中介作用,而且发挥了链式中介作用,即真实型领导通过降低不确定性规避程度影响员工的创新自我效能感,进而鼓励了员工的创新。  相似文献

Integrating transformational leadership, creativity and social cognitive theories, we explore the relationships among transformational leadership, creative role identity, creative self-efficacy, job complexity and creativity. Structural equation modeling (SEM) with bootstrapping estimation was conducted using data from 395 supervisor–employee dyads from international tourist hotels in Taiwan. The results show that supervisors' transformational leadership positively influenced employee creative self-efficacy and creativity. Moreover, creative role identity was found to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creative self-efficacy, while both creative role identity and creative self-efficacy were found to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creativity. Specifically, job complexity was found to moderate the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creative role identity, the relationship between employee creative role identity and creative self-efficacy, and the relationship between employee creative self-efficacy and creativity. We discuss the implications of these results for research and practice in hospitality context.  相似文献

A conceptual model tested the leisure constraints negotiation process of outdoor recreation: motivation and the constraints to participate likely influenced by negotiation efforts. Higher motivation to participate encourages using negotiation strategies and resources to overcome constraints. Experiencing constraints was thought to trigger negotiation efforts. Drawing from social cognitive theory, negotiation-efficacy was proposed to encourage motivation, diminish the perception of constraints and promote negotiation efforts, which indirectly influenced positive participation. The model tested used data collected from a random sample of Arizona residents through hierarchical confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. Results support the conceptual model and suggest the constraints negotiation process is a dynamic interaction of influences promoting outdoor recreation participation.  相似文献
