现实高等教育中的趋利倾向显著、形式主义泛滥、人格培养上的“无为”和“不为”、教育环境的庸俗化等与大学本义相背离现象 ,提示我们应该象“牛津人”那样维护大学本义 ,以促进大学教育的规范与合理。1.坚持大学教育的人格塑造之宗旨 ;2.维护大学教育活动中学术自由的原则 ;3.争取与维护大学相对独立的社会地位。

In present higher education, the trend for profits is outstanding ,Superficial formalism is overwhelming, "linient tonature" and "not doing" in character cultivation, educational environment's becoming vulgar and etc are against the innate meaning of University ,showing us that we should act as "Oxforders" to protect the innate meaning of University, to promote educational standards and reasonablenness. 1.to persist in maintaining the aim of personality cultivation; 2. to protect the principle of academic freedom in college eolucational activities; 3.endeavor to win and protect the comparativelly independent social positiong Universities.
