“哲学”刍议

“哲学”是一门古老而又历久弥新的学科，但“哲学”一词却始终没有形成一个普适的定义。也就是说“什么是哲学”这个问题至今尚未有终极的答案。但是我们可以对“哲学”加以说明，可以回答“哲学是什么”。本文尝试通过对“哲学是什么”和“什么是哲学”这两个问题的区别与联系的阐释来为这一古老的概念寻求新的内涵。

Philosophy is one of the oldest disciplines, but there is no one universal definition about the ＂ philosophy＂. That is to say： there is no final answer yet to the problem＂what is philosophy＂. However, we can illustrate the word by answering ＂What is philosophy of＂ .This paper attempts to search for new meaning for this age-old concept through comparison of the relationship between the two questions ＂What is philosophy＂ and ＂What is the philosophy of＂.
