大学新生入学前英语学习策略调查

摘    要:文章结合英语课文《优等生的奥秘》的教学,对嘉兴学院2004年入学的非英语专业新生进行了调查,了解了其高中阶段英语学习中运用的学习策略与高考英语成绩两个变量的关系,以及性别、生源(毕业于城镇中学或乡村中学)对两个变量的影响。得出结论:学习策略与高考英语成绩呈正相关,性别对上述两个变量的影响有显著差异,生源对两个变量的影响无显著性差异。

Abstract:Based on the text Secrets of A Students, this paper investigates the correlation between precollege learning strategies and scores on English Matriculation Test, and the impact of gender and origin ( i.e. subjects from urban or rural high schools ) on the above two variables. The results showed that a highly significant correlation was found between scores on learning strategies and EMT, and there is significant difference between sexes for the two variables, but no significant difference in terms of origin. The subjects in the survey were randomly sampled among non-English major freshmen enrolled in Jiaxing College in 2004.
