WTO对中国经济的发展产生了深远的影响,入世过渡期结束后,尚不完善和发达的中国保险业面临新一轮改革和发展的战略选择。本文介绍了WTO有关保险市场的规定与内容,分析了入世五年来WTO对中国保险业的机遇和挑战以及目前外资保险公司在中国的发展现状,提出了中国保险业未来应对WTO的重要举措。

The WTO and the Strategy Selection in Chinas Insurance Industry

WTO has had a profound impact on econo- my development in China.After the end of the transition pe riod of China's WTO entry,imperfect and underdeveloped China's insurance industry is facing a new round of reform and the development of strategy selection.This paper intro- duces the relevant WTO provisions of the insurance market and content,analyses the opportunities and challenges of China's insurance industry in the 5 years of China's WTO en- try and development situation of foreign insurance companies in China at present,and puts forward the important act of China's insurance industry to cope with WTO in the future.
