| 摘 要： | The Chinese government officially resumed its exercise of sovereignty over Hong Kong on July 1, 1997. On this historic occasion, the China National Machinery Import and Export Corporation officially renamed itself as the China Machinery Import and Export Group Corporation, with the approval of the relevant department of the state, and moved into its new office building. The change of name marks the progress it has achieved in a the course of exploring the establishment of a modern enterprise system.
