| 摘 要： | 本文利用1988至2004年间中国各省详细的反腐败信息和省级FDI的面板数据，系统考察了这二十年来反腐败努力在多大程度上吸引FDI来中国投资。文章从经验上证实，度量反腐败的贪污贿赂立案数和反腐败人员配备的提高对FDI有相当正面的推动作用，中国改革以来的迅速发展与反腐败关系密切。同时，我们也证实了腐败不是FDI的润滑剂而是会腐蚀FDI的沙子，要靠不懈的反腐败努力控制腐败从而吸引FDI。我们的研究还发现，近十年来的反腐败努力在执行效率上比之前提高了，但人员配备的提升并没有像1997年前那样促进FDI。
