| Abstract: | This paper surveyed the research about the causes of merger and acquisition waves in China, and for the first time, government-leading hypothesis, regulation-driven hypothesis and value-transfer hypothesis were summarized as the momentous processes of this research field in China from 2000. Furthermore, this paper finally provided a direction indicator for continuative study. |
