| Abstract: | The strategy of great development in the west of China is not only a regional development scheme,but also an important overall project.Being pillar a industry in national economic development,manufacturing industry plays an important role in the economic development of the west area.Beginning with an analysis of the status and impact of manufacturing industry on national economic development,the paper points out the main reasons for the backwardness of manufacturing industry in the west.The implementation of the Great West Opening-up Strategy may offer the opportunity of enhancing the competitive power of the local manufacturing industry. |
