摘    要:去年以来,被破产、收购、退市的流言缠身的绿城,一直被视为这一轮楼市调控下濒临资金链断裂的地产商代表,宋卫平不断割肉求生,他能否带领这家赌性十足的公司脱险?两场商务谈判之间的空闲时间,绿城董事长宋卫平向年轻的员工小郑详细询问了他到浙江淳安某乡村学校支教的经历。这是自2011年绿城陷入危机以来,宋卫平难得的安闲时刻,(危机)基本上是过去了。

Greentown:Pulled Back from the Brink
Abstract:Since last year,Greentown China Holdings Limited has been seen as the perfect representative of a company brought to brink during this round of market regulations as it has been constantly plagued by rumors of bankruptcy,acquisition and delisting.All eyes were on Greentown as its survival would directly influence the decisions of other investment companies that were still deciding whether to swoop in and save other similarly situated real estate enterprises.It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Song Weiping’s main mission over the past year was to find away to pull Greentown back from the brink of disaster.With the slow rebound of the real estate industry and the subtle changes to China’s monetary policy it looks like many other real estate enterprises that are in a similar position to Greentown may also experience their own twist of fate. How did Song Weiping manage to guide his company out of danger over the past year? What changes does he have in store for the company? Is Greentown a good example to follow for other companies in China’s real estate industry?
