| 摘 要： | 本文对比研究了中美两份英语报纸的话语标记语的使用情况,以揭示跨文化视角下的话语标记语的使用异同。为此目的,本研究自建了一个包含中美两份报纸社论的语料库共计246,771词。研究结果表明英语的话语标记语在两种文化下存在显著差异。本研究为跨文化交际提供了启示。

| Abstract: | This paper explored the discourse markers used in editorials of two English newspapers in order to find out the cross-cultural difference between the using of discourse markers.To this end,the corpus of 246,771words of editorials was built based on the China Daily and New York Times.The results show that there is a striking difference.The results also shed light on the cross-cultural communication. |
