| Abstract: | Hong Kong's fair efficient legal system is the bedrock of its economic success. The practice of Western law underpins Hong Kong's entire free, market by providing a level playing field, due process, protection of property right and legal contracts. Mr. Lee, the Democratric Party of Hong Kong, warns of the potential harmful impact of Chinese sovereignty in Hong Kong after 1997, particularly through corruption and nepotism. |
