Jiao Xinde was born in 1966 into an old family renowned for its paper-cut art. As the third generation of the family business - Jiao's Traditional Paper-Cut Art, Jiao is now a member of Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association and China Association of Paper-cut Art. He has also been honored as First Grade Artist of Paper-cut by Hebei Province, and has been elected as Standing Director of Paper-cut Professional Committee of Hebei Folklore Society. His works have won a series of awards
