西部开发战略的几点思考

西部开发是党中央和国务院在世纪之交作出的一项重大的战略决策，它具有重在原政治和经济意义。西部开发面临着新的体制环境和背景，即我国社会主义市场经济体制基本确立，世界范围内全球化进程进一步加快。在新的体制环境和背景下，要确保西部开发取得成功，必须要实施正确的发展战略，即西部开发要遵循市场经济规律，要把经济结构的战略性调整作为其中心；要从地缘经济战略的角度考虑，要采取非均衡协调发展战略，要优选实施知识发展战略，实现可持续发展。

SOME THOUGHTS OF WESTERN DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

The western development is the great policy that is made by the Central Committee of the Party. Which has great political and economic meaning. The western development is faced with new system and surrounding, which is the market economic system is established and the speed of globalization is accelerated. In the new system and surrounding, if we ensure the success of the western development, we must carry out the right strategies. We should follow the law of market economy; put the economic structure in the center of the development; consider the development from angle of the geoeconomy; adopt strategy of imbalance and harmony; implement the strategy of knowledge, and realize sustained development
