| 摘 要： | 随着计算机网络应用的发展，网上的站点越来越多，以太网的带宽瓶颈问题已成为影响网络应用发展的一个重要原因。本文着重介绍了利用交换技术提高以太网性能的基本原理和实现方式，以及以交换技术为基础的虚拟局域网络的应用。
