构建和谐城市要反思城市化的历史经验

城市是我国经济、政治、科学技术、文化教育的中心，是现代工业集中的地方，是现代国家经济社会的主要载体，又是经济社会发展的基础，还是各种利益整合、各种矛盾交错的平台。民主法制、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处，是构建和谐城市的根本指导思想和基本目标。“十一五”时期，我们要努力构建和谐城市，就要认真总结国内外城市化的经验教训，反思城市化的历史经验，重新审视我国的城市发展模式。

Meditate Historical Experience of Urbanization to Construct Harmonious Cities

Cities are the centers of economy, politics, science, technology, culture and education, the places where moaem maustry concentrates, the main carriers of modern economy and society, the foundation of the development of economy and society, and a flat roof where various benefits are in conformity and various contradictions are interlocked. Democracy and legal system, fairness and justice, honesty and fraternity, vigor, stability and order, harmonious relationship between man and nature are the fundamental guiding ideas and basic targets to construct harmonious cities. In the 11 th five--year plan period, we should conscientiously summarize the domestic and foreign urbanization experiences and lessons, meditate the historical experience of urbanization and re--examine the urbanization mode of our country in order to construct harmonious cities.
