The Evolution of Firewalls System in the U.S. and the Suggestion to China

Since the 1930s,the firewalls in the U.S.has evolved with the changing of the economic and financial situation,the concept of firewalls,the function and also the evolution of firewalls in the U.S.are analyzed systematically in this paper.Financial holding company will be adopted in China in the future when the combination of banking and other financial industries comes true,so drawing on the experience of firewalls of the U.S.,and taking some scientific and reasonable measures on the supervision of financial holding company is of great significance to the steady transformation of financial operating model in China.
