| Abstract: | The issue of copyright infringement by search engines has gained momentum in the cyberworld. InMarch 2005, Agence France Presse, a news agency,sued Google for accessing its content without permis-sion and claimed that, despite its requests to Google,the company hasn’t stopped doing it. It is aboutthird-party copyright infringement. The key prob-lem is that if search engines are bringing someone toa third-party site that has violated a copyright, theyhave no way of knowing it. |
