| 摘 要： | 为了了解高职院校公共英语学习现状,改进英语教学,笔者对本院学生进行了抽样调查。结果显示,学生英语基础参差不齐,对课堂英语教学质量反映一般,学习英语目的过于功利性,英语学习缺乏主动性。为了改变大学生英语学习现状,提高英语教学质量,必须采取相应的对策和措施。

| Abstract: | For the purpose of improving the current situation of college English study,the writers carried out a sample survey among the freshmen in Wuxi Institute of Commerce.The results show that the students have different English backgrounds and they do not have quite positive reactions towards English teaching.Furthermore,they study English for a very utilitarian purpose and are lack of initiative.Proper measures must be taken in order to improve college English study and teaching in vocational colleges. |
