千佛山上的爱情

The seventh day of the 7th month on the Chinese calendar is called the Qixi Festival, also known asthe Qiqiao Festival or the Girls＇ Festival. Its origin dates back to the Han Dynasty and celebrates the annual meeting of the cowherd and weaver girl in Chinese mythology. According to the legend, it＇s a chance to witness the two lovers, who have been separated all year by the Silver River （Milky Way）, being reunited on this day. Influenced by the romantic atmosphere, men and women with quenchless thirst for love will that night wish upon the stars for marital felicity and a bright future. This is a traditional festival with the most romantic appeal; it is the Chinese Valentine＇s Day.
