How to Better Uphold and Develop Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era:Experience of Learning the Spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee

The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee comprehensively summarizes the major achievements and historical experience of the party’s hundred years of struggle,and provids important guidance for better adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Deng Xiaoping Theory creats socialism with Chinese characteristics.As a masterpiece of Deng Xiaoping Theory,the South Talk comprehensively expounds Deng Xiaoping’s thought on how to build socialism with Chinese characteristics,which still has important guiding significance for China to better adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and combined with the important thought of Deng Xiaoping’s South Talk,this paper holds that we should better adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.First,we should adhere to the party’s leadership and the people’s supremacy.Second,we should adhere to independence and the Chinese road.Third,we should adhere to development and innovation and comprehensively deepen reform.Fourth,we should keep the world in mind and deepen opening up to the outside world.
