Language Learning Strategy Theory and College English Teaching

In recent years, language learning strategy has become one of the heated topics in the fi eld of education and applied linguistics, as well as one of the key factors influencing the English learning outcomes. Based on the language learning strategy theory and with a view to improving college English teaching quality, this paper discusses the teaching practice on strategy training in college English teaching regarding the following aspects: its signifi cance, principles, contents and training methods.
