三峡水资源战略储备库的保护与开发

三峡工程的寿命关键取决于三峡水库的水体质量。三峡水库的水质从根本上又取决于对水库自身的开发是否合理适度,取决于对水库水资源的保护是否到位,取决于三峡库区的生态环境是否改善。三峡水库不仅是三峡工程的生命线,而且是长江中下游的生态屏障,还是全国的水资源战略储备库。必须高度重视三峡水库水资源的保护,大力改善库区生态环境,把三峡水库建成供全国人民饮用水的“天然水库”。

The quality of the water resource and the ecological environment of reservoir-area depend on the resource development of reservoir-area and the protection of Three-Gorge Reservoir. Three-gorge Reservoir is not only the key to the Three-gorge Project, but also the ecological barriers of the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and the water reservoir of the whole country. The protection of water resource in Three-gorge Reservoir should draw nation wide attention. And we should try to improve the ecological environment and build the Three-gorge Reservoir a natural reservoir which could meet the demand of the whole country.
