Both financial development and opening to the outside world have a driving effect on the regional innovation on a nationwide scale. In regions with a low level of economic development,financial development plays a significant role in promoting technological innovation,while opening to the outside world does not have a significant effect on technological innovation. In regions with a high level of economic development,financial development and opening to the outside world can accelerate technology innovation. Therefore,in order to fully promote regional technological innovation,firstly,it is necessary for China to strengthen the opening to the outside world and deepen the reform of the financial system.
