Study on the Cultural Differences in Writing Teaching for English Majors

Different cultural backgrounds and cultural traditions between the East and the West are reflected not only on the values,behaviors and lifestyles,but also on the way of thinking.In teaching writing for English majors in the universities,teachers should emphasize the cultural differences in order to enhance the students’ writing ability in the aspects of organization,sentence structure and vocabulary.
