| Abstract: | Hemingway advocated this belief that good works should leave space for readers to explore just in the same way as an iceberg does. By analyzing the background,purpose of writing,forms of art and artistic methods of his masterpiece, the Old Man and the Sea, the important idea guiding creation in literature of Hemingway is fully illustrated. |
