| 摘 要： | 大学英语课堂沉默现象表明师生间的互动失败,学生对抗、排斥英语学习的消极心理。它严重制约学生英语综合能力的培养以及教师英语教学水平的提高。本文通过问卷调查和访谈,试图发现湖北科技学院大学英语课堂沉默现状,从学生内在因素剖析其成因,探讨消除课堂沉默现象的新办法。

| Abstract: | Reticence in college English class indicates an interaction failure between teachers and students, and students＆#39; negative attitudes of resisting and rejecting English learning, which extremely restraints the cultivation of students＆#39; English abilities and teachers＆#39; teaching improvement. This study aims to find out the reticence in college English class in Hubei University of Science and Technology and students＆#39; interior factors, in hope of exploring the new approaches of eliminating it. |
