| Abstract: | This essay offers an analysis on both the problems caused by usin g permanent residents as the total population quota in the assessment of GDP per c apita and its reasons as well. Amendments are put forward that present populati on be used as the total population quota. Meanwhile, a comparison between the f ormer GDP per capita and amended GDP per capita is provided. |
