Proposals Concerning Improving Old-age Insurance System in Our Rural Areas

Old-age insurance system in our rural areas has been carried out for more than ten years, however some problems, which are closely related to some shortcoming of the system have been revealed. In this paper the proposals concerning further improving the system will be put forward in the following areas: making system conforming to the basic feature of social security, reforming the modes of financing and the modes of the management of security funds for the old-age insurance.
