Tips for Teaching Assistants and New Instructors

ABSTRACT

There's an abundance of reasons for pursuing a graduate degree in tourism and hospitality. One of the common reasons is the desire to teach. However, it can be intimidating to stand in front of a classroom and be expected to impart knowledge upon college students. Hopefully, these tips and the ones in following issues of this journal will provide ideas to help make the taskof teaching more manageable and enjoyable. Good luck!
