小规格6060铝合金铸棒均匀化生产实践

A small-scale homogenization treament and production practice of 6060 aluminium alloy cast rod

Homogenization treatment of cast rod is comparative important in producing 6060 aluminium alloy,which significantly affects the extrusion,mechanical and surface property and also can relieve the cast stress,composition segregation and improve the extrusion property.It s an important method to increase the metallurgical quality of ingot and extrusion property.The important parameters of homogenization treatment include the time,temperature and the cooling rate.Technological parameter optimizations and microscopic structure evaluation of the extruded aluminium alloy cast rod with a diameter less then 140 millimeter have been investigated in this paper.The results show that the optimum and economical conditions of homogenization treatment and reach the aim of improving quality,increasing efficiency and reducing energy consumption after ensuring the effect of homogenization treatment.
