The Communist Party of China (CPC) has always paid attention to the unique role of ideological and political work, which is an effective means to lead people in the pursuit of national independence, national rejuvenation and people''s happiness in different historical periods. As the bridge that links the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government to the country''s scientific and technological workers, China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) shoulders the important mission of uniting scientific and technological talents and forces, and building scientific values and consensus, thus, CAST attaches great importance to ideological and political work.
