Credit card industry is one focus of consumer finance market this year.This paper summarizes the structure of credit card operation network. Then it analyzes the network externalities of structure and its three principle rules. Following is the core of the article, which describes the risk of the network. For issuers take on the most risk of the system, their profits and costs are discussed carefully. At last, this paper pays attention to financial conditions for the credit card industry of China.
