A Logical Framework of Urban-rural Integration Development from the Perspective of Harmony Culture

Chinese harmony culture takes harmony as its purpose and promotes the realization of ideal harmonious state by means of harmony. The connotation of urban-rural integration development is logically consistent with the original meaning of harmony culture, which contains rich integration values that can be used for reference by urban-rural development. Based on the actual development needs of new urban-rural relationship and the urgent requirements for building a harmonious society, this paper discusses cultural logic of harmony for the development of urban-rural integration adhering to the value concept of Chinese harmony culture. It proposes the following development logic concepts: the unity of heaven and man constitutes the balance of urban-rural integration; premium harmony constitutes the coordinated development of urban-rural integration; harmony in diversity constitutes the characteristic development of urban-rural integration; working together with one heart constitutes a joint development of urban-rural integration; maintenance of supreme harmony constitutes an advanced development of urban-rural integration.
