Empirical Research on the Synergistic Development of Port and Shipping Logistics Industry and Port City of Ningbo

Taking Ningbo for example, the correlation degree of port and shipping logistics industry and port city was analyzed by using the grey correlation analysis method.On this basis, synergistic development effects of port and shipping logistics industry and port city were further made by using the VAR model. This study shows that, compared with international strong ports in the world, the synergistic development of port and shipping logistics industry and port city in Ningbo is not good. Along with the transformation of port and shipping logistics functions, industrial transformation and upgrading, urban service functions and internationalization increasing, there is still a lot of space and potential for the coordinated development of port and shipping logistics industry and port city.
