新疆各城市综合竞争力比较的因子和聚类分析

在工业化进程不断加快的今天，提高城市竞争力具有十分重要的意义。测度城市综合竞争力需要建立科学的指标体系。因子分析方法将众多指标转化为少数几个互相独立的综合指标，以避免指标间信息重叠，而聚类分析将避免分类的主观性和随意性，从而较为全面地反映新疆各城市的综合竞争力，有利于各城市找出自身的差距从而实现其跨越式发展。

The Factor and Cluster Analysis in Comparison with the Competitive Power of the Cities in Xinjiang

This article uses nine indexes of economic, erects an index system to measure the city competitive power, and compare the competitive power of the cities in Xinjiang. Taking 19 cities of the large and middle size in Xinjiang as samples, the author uses the factor analysis to appraise each kind of cities comprehensively and puts the city competitive power in order with the software named SAS. Through the objective classification by cluster analysis, it gives the features of urbanization and the relative superiority of economic development in Xinjiang's different areas, and finds out the weak link and problems that we must face in the economic development. The author puts forward some reasonable proposals to enhance the city competitive power for different cities in Xinjiang.
