To Introduce Conversational Implication into the Teaching of Phonetics

Phonetics study includes not only language's pronunciation, but also its intonation and rhythm. Traditional phonetics teaching neglected the expressive function of intonation, stress, pause, and so on. So it is necessary now to introduce the concept of Conversational Implication into the process of teaching and promote students' communicative competence.
