Analysing of the financial policy of American higher education and its enlightenment

The funding source of American universities has the feature of multiplicity, Universities have a wide range of choices about funding resources to solve their financial difficulties. One of the reasons why the American higher education has been made to the masses (rather than just an elite group of people) successfully is that all levels of governments increase investment on higher education and universities try to raise fund efficiently through many other sources. This paper analyzes and summarizes some funding sources of higher education in the United States, discuss the problems and difficulties that universities in China's Guangdong Province are facing, and some suggestions regarding sources of funding are proposed to further develop Guangdong's higher education.
