Abstract: | A sampling of more than 1,700 career-committed mothers and their husbands indicates that seven out of ten find it difficult to pursue both career and motherhood, but more than three-fourths are determined to make the combination work. Seven out of ten husbands are offering significant help, and what once was known as “women's work” is becoming shared “home work.” |
