Employees as Stakeholders

In the context of employees, the discussion centres not so much on whether employees are stakeholders as on how their stakes should be embodied. In this article, the author argues that from the point of view of the performance of the firm, the best way to incorporate employee stake is by schemes which combine participation in control with participation in financial returns.
