三驾马车推动NGN发展

The advancing of technology, deployment of services, improving of users' demand and expanding of network capacity, all those tell us that it is a trend that the existing network will no longer satisfy the development of telecomtechnology providers andndustry. In the new condition, carriers, manufacturers,some government departments begin to grope for the new network. With the features of multi-service, broadband, packet, openness,mobility, compatibility, security and administrability, NGN is regarded as what can reproduce the flourishing of telecom industry. And so in this issue “New Telecom Salon” focuses on NGN and its commercial deployment. Some authorities in this field are invited to talk about all related things about the developing trends of NGN, and to analyze its deployment. The authorities invited include Wei Leping from China Telecom, Jiang Lintao from Telecom Research Academy of MII, Yang Jing from UTStarcom and Zhang Jian from SCNB.
